Cows..Horses..Bloody Plovers & Renegade Dogs
I went out this afternoon for the pure purpose to spend some time with my camera without distraction.
I drove a bit into the hills ...just for different scenery...it was hard not to drive down to the water.
There were so many baby cows and horses and it was so green and lovely.
The garlic had been harvested so no pics of those proud garlic flowers all in a row today.
I had to take Rumi for a run and drove back near to home to a football field.......those bloody Plovers started to attack again...I was ready to whack them with Rumi's lead ......I'm getting a bit fed up with their attitude for sure.
As we were walking to the car I noticed a lovely long haired red dog walk all the way down the field to the goal posts went inside the net and did a huge dump.......then walked off all the way up the field and out of sight...I reckon he scored a goal.
This is a perfect one from our friend today..I really love it.
“Today, like every other day, we wake up empty
and frightened. Don't open the door to the study
and begin reading. Take down the dulcimer.
Let the beauty we love be what we do.
There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground.”
