Juniper berries

Struggling tonight with decisions. My nephew is coming home tomorrow, fresh from his return from Afghanistan. His parents are throwing a big welcome home party. Mr M and I have been planning to go, but we live 2 hours away and there is a major snowstorm on the way. It's supposed to be light in the morning hours, then get heavy later in the afternoon. We have thought about loading up Riley and going, then staying overnight at my parents' house, and coming home early Sunday morning - Mr M has to be at work Sunday afternoon. Sounds reasonable, but I just keep wondering if we're being foolish to set out in the first place? We will see my nephew at Christmas, but I would really really like to see him get home. Decided to wait until tomorrow to decide!
