Street names

Abu Dhabi: As part of the recently launched Onwani (My Address) project, the Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM), supported by the Department of Municipal Affairs, have announced the renaming of 14 major streets in Abu Dhabi City.

Previously no-one could remember which street was which, directions used to be for example 'Behind the Intercontinental'. ADM then decided to give the streets numbers. Odd numbers from the Corniche to the bridges, and even across the island.

So that means that this street which was Muroor Road became 4th Street, and is now Sultan bin Zayed First Street. I predict chaos.
