Now we have everything

By Gembop

11 months old!

Wow. The last month before we start using the Y word ('year') Where did the time go?!

Charlie loves to:

- eat, especially bananas, satsumas, and yoghurt/fromage frais or a fruit pot

- walk with his walker or cruise along the furniture passing from the sofa to the table to a person

- climb! Not only the stairs but anything that stays still including any high chair that hasn't strapped him in with a 5 point harness

- dance, which he does by bouncing up and down

- clap and wave hello, though clapping is his favourite

- stick out his tongue in response to his silly mummy doing the same

- laugh and smile - he's still a very happy camper despite teething, and various coughs and cold

- kiss! Which he does on request. Unfortunately it's still a very wet open mouth lean-in, but I love it

- stand up in the bath grabbing everything off the sides and from the sink- especially tooth brushes, which reminds me..

- brush his teeth, or just suck the toothbrush head, same difference ;)

- say mama and dada

After tooth number 3 appeared we've now had number 4 break through, his front top right. That, together with his far too active mind has caused him a few broken nights but otherwise he loves his big sleep.

He still has mummy's milk three times a day, roughly, but often only feeds in the day for comfort or to catch some zz's. He's still far too stubborn/nosey to just lie down and go to sleep in his cot like he used to, but as with everything I'm sure it'll change again soon enough.

He's thankfully still a very portable baby and happy with fairly long car journeys - and has now got a few more European countries under his (seat) belt to prove it.
