A Quiet Saturday.

Busy day at the cottage today. First our neighbour popped over with some shortbread and tablet, the remains from yesterday fund raising Coffee Morning. So we had a wee cup of tea and a chat and caught up with the latest gossip - of which there was very little.

We then started cutting, splitting and storing the logs. I get to use the chainsaw and the maul while BB stacks and stores them. Teamwork and very satisfying.

Then John the Builder popped over to check out the new windows which meant more tea and gossip -again very little I'm afraid to say.

Finally we managed to get out for a walk with Mr Dog where we met John and Auria - no tea this time but we gave them some of the shortbread.

Now it's back home, fire on and dinner on the table. Whew!
