The Welcome Wall

Had lunch at the Casino today and after walked through Darling Harbour past the Welcome Wall - a monument to everyone who has traveled the seas to make Australia their home.

I haven't looked at this since becoming Australian but it somehow resonates a lot more, having made the same (albeit a thousand times easier!) journey as some of these people long ago.
