Albie

I headed down to the Creative Exchange in Leith after work, it's the former Leith Corn Exchange building. Albie, who is a former student of the college and has been the photographer in residence for the last while, has an exhibition there which opened tonight.

It's all work he produced during his residency and is various abstrct studies of a glass head shot on medium and large format film to demonstrate abstract effects which can be achieved using photographic and darkroom techniques rather than digital manipulation.

I think it's on for another couple of weeks and is worth a visit if you are in the area.
