Christmas isn't celebrated, or even acknowledged in Saudi. When we moved here we were told not to take any Christmas decorations (amongst other things!) in our shipment. Everyone knows someone who has had their Christmas stuff confiscated at customs on the way back from Bahrain (I managed to get a 6ft tree, baubles, lights and a wreath through, YASSSSS!). Clearly this family had no such issues. And I'm guessing they're probably not Muslims.
