Doors Opening in Edinburgh

It was Doors Open Day in Edinburgh today, and for one couple this was very apposite after their wedding in Lothian Chambers off Parliament Square. We found these little bridesmaids sitting on the wall while waiting for a taxi.

We had just visited Parliament Hall and the courtrooms where civil cases take place . The criminal courts are now across the road in the new High Court.
It was amazing to find so many people out and about around this area and also the University area. We were disapponted in the long queue for the Anatomy Department in Teviot Place. We had wanted to see the tiered lecture theatre, but were too impatient to wait. There's always next year!
