St. Lucia’s Day

Goldfinches are fun to watch, they are very lively little birds. Sometimes they have arguments, like these two fellows.

Achievement of the day was getting Christmas cards to the post center in Multisilta, 6 minutes before the deadline. Luckily Leevi helped me, otherwise I couldn't have made it. We have a tradition to make our own cards, that's fun but takes some time.

A storm dubbed Seija swept into Finland late last night, battering parts of of the country with winds reaching speeds of up to 30 meters per second. Do we have more storms this year than normally have?? Anyway, no harm for us was caused this time either. The storm brought us a sunny day for a change, which was nice.
