Christmas sparkle and Oswaldtwistle Mills.

Paul, Maria and me were glad the repairs to our roof were ongoing this morning.
Weather merciful, thank Heaven.
The slates are old and weather worn, so new black roof tiles of strong plastic material are going to be placed on the roof.
It is a meticulous and skilled process. Costly yet imperative in our circumstances to keep well after all the damp!
It shall run into next week.
The dust and noise were an unavoidable part of the clearing of the roof of old slates.
The roofers cleaned the pavement after the work.
New tiles could arrive by a delivery this afternoon.
We visited Oswaldtwistle Mills and thought about Christmas gifts.
I liked this well lit tree display and the real trees near the entrance.
The Mills are a very positive working environment and the staff and product range is excellent.
