Practising....

I went for my walk with a mission today as it's Camera School time again! This month is running water. There are a couple of places around the lake that are ideal. This shot is one of them, it's actually an artificial stream. I know it doesn't look like it, but the water is pumped out of the lake and then left to fall down between the rocks.

The other option is the weir at the far end of the lake.

I had to take my tripod with me today to get this shot. It's not the best one in the world but it's been OK for me for the last 2 years. It was a quick, cheap buy as I needed one for my LPH holiday a couple of years ago. I'm now looking for a better one but am really undecided what to get??

Forgot to mention I saw the Little Egret today for the first time this winter. Hope it sticks around for a while.
