For a Christmas Wreath

I find the annual publication of a newspaper article about what kind of wreath can be purchased at this time of year and for what minimal price a great stimulus.

A stimulus, that is, to construct my own.

So here you see my annual offering. Fortunately I have been blipping for less than a year and so it is impossible for you to see what was constructed last year.

Apart from the odd bauble the majority of what you see was collected in my garden or from the hedgerow nearby. The only exception was the variegated holly and this I happened to spot outside a house a couple of miles away.

There is even a fleeting bonus in that the now dry wreath material from last year acted as our fire lighter last night.

You cannot beat a bit of Christmas benevolence...
