The Midday Heat

It's not taken long for the place to get a bit overgrown again. And I didn't like it; it was quiet, too quiet.



The end of the week is upon us; the back back room has been cleared. I expect the imminent arrival of the flooring people. Then that's it. No more expense or hassle. Well, for this year.

[note to self: always check that the wine that the wine waiter flourishes in front of you is in fact the one that you ordered. Not maybe a [i]slightly[/i] more expensive bottle from the same region. Ahem.]
