On the edge

A pre-conference day. Just registered, and then escaped for a few hours before starting the long days in the sessions. Just drive to West Rim, which I hadn't visited earlier. It was great, maybe a little smaller tban South Rim, but in the scale on Grand canyon, nothing is small :)
Everything was very nicely organized in this place as well... The only thing totally missing was - as you can see here - the fences... There was nothing to stop you getting into the edges...
