Kevin's take on life

Frozen cardinal

Today I was off , and attended a hearing regarding my rent increase, it turned out to be a heated meeting , unfortunately for the tenants we failed to organize and bring supporting documents to help our case. The landlord was armed with management and a lawyer. And dragging the meeting an hour longer than they wanted the judge said she would still take our arguments into consideration. She seemed not to be pleased with the lawyer present as she told him to be quite on several occasions. A ruling will come out in the next few weeks.

Once the hearing was over I got a chance to go out for a walk in the park in the afternoon , the sun was out but was cold -9c but with the windchill it felt like -18c and trust me it felt bitter at points. I went to feed some of the small birds along my walk, today it was not the chickadees bring me but it was the nuthatches they buzzed me on serval occasions looking for food I had my bare hand open for only a short time until I could not stand it any longer, the gloves needed robe worn and the seeds spread out for all the birds. I had a hard time handling the camera but managed to get a few shots I have posted some other shots on my Flickr account.

I got this cardinal up close and personal looking for some food !

Tomorrow is Friday and is time for Squirrel blip Friday , will I keep my streek going only time will tell.
