Hellooo!

Far more twisted in large.

As I spied on the bluejays, this one sat atop a broken sapling watching the birds below and above him and occasionally me. He didn't move a muscle, he just twisted his head around to the left and right. It went on for quite a while... such a silly twisted bluejay. It worked out great for me though, I had the chance to get the shot I wanted!

Later in the day, I took off to finish up my Christmas shopping for this weekend's celebration with my side of the family and my Grandma's 105th birthday party. Fortunately, the stores I picked weren't too crowded and I found everything left on the list fairly easily. Whew! Now, I'm glad to be back home and done with the heavy traffic and sketchy roads. The winter stormy weather still hasn't let up. I hope the roads aren't too bad for holiday travels... I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone!
