Teapot

An evening at Murrayfield Ice Rink today. Sitting in the bleachers is cold, but I did manage to grab a coffee from the Murrayfield hotel - at least it kept me warm for the first hour. For the second, I had to rely on thermals!

It so happened (ahem!) that I had my camera with me, and so I contrived to grab some shots of some of the moves that Jenni was doing. This one is called a "teapot", and requires a degree of control of muscles that I simply cannot comprehend! Out of shot, she even manages to get back upright, without having to put her hand down to steady herself. Pretty amazing!

I didn't nail the focus, and I could have done with a faster shutter speed - but this was already at ISO3200, so I was clearly struggling with the available light.
