Betsy and I are reading Oliver Twist. I am enjoying it more than I expected, Betsy less than she expected.

I am also re-reading The Crow Road. I always think of it as an '80's novel, but it was published in '92 or something. But the early '90's is practically the '80's as far as I'm concerned!
