A day out at Beamish open air museum that tells the story of the people of North East England during the Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian periods. The old shops were so interesting and you can talk to people in role to find out more about how people lived and worked. The cart horses were having new shoes fitted and I watched these for quite a while, they were so good and didn't mind the farriers cutting and scraping and burning their hooves - I guess they're used to it.

Meanwhile Steven has won Masterchef - didn't see that coming!
