Happy Birthday Leyla

This was a labour of love. It required ingredients I'd never previously heard of (sponge flower and egg white powder), a terrifying 2.5 hours in the oven, and some serious rebuilding when it fell into several pieces when I attempted to cut it through the middle. The rendering abilities of whipped chocolate butter icing should get a mention in building regs. Anyway it went down a treat. And now, I am steeling myself for the much anticipated (by one person in the household) 'sleep'over tomorrow night. I should probably go to bed now and bank some shut eye.
