Reach for the Stars

A long day - no time to explore the World during the day or night so a back garden safari was again on the agenda...

It was enough but I need a day. I want to set off when it's still dark and walk to the sunrise, crunching frost and rising mist, and still be walking when the journey of the sun has ended for the day and I have entirely relaxed.

I feel cooped up.

The night was starry and cold, and while we have to wrap up warm, the trees have shed their coats and stand bare and tall.

Soon be the shortest day!
