Baking Disasters

My eldest Grandaughter will be home this weekend from Manchester to celebrate her birthday, so a Birthday Cake was needed. I gave her a choice of four different flavours and she chose the Chocolate Double Divine one. So as soon as I was back from the hairdressers, apron on, and got started, cake made and in the oven. While all the baking ingredients were out I then decided to make a new recipe, Cornish Sticky Cake and then some Date Muffins. Then all went wrong, Choc Sandwich sunk in the centres, Cornish Cake spilled over in the oven and while the Muffins were cooking the phone rang and they are over cooked. Oh well lets hope they taste alright.
