Kokeshi Dolls

These inscrutable ladies stand on our mantlepiece and cast their gaze over us as we lounge about relaxing.

They are in fact Japanese Kokeshi dolls one of which (the one on the left) was brought back from a business trip. I've 'blipped' them today in honour of the fact that come Sunday I'm off for another business trip for the week (the US rather than Japan unfortunately). So managing to post a blip every day whilst travelling may be a challenge so advance apologies if I miss a day!
