Ambushed...AKA...touching base

Early morning - straight out of camera

because the rest of my day saw me being very grumpy

I'd set a date and time for a telephone conference (next week)

I'd asked for an agenda so I could prepare

and today (when I was working day 4 of my 3 day week {again}) the lead guy on the other side phoned

to introduce himself and touch base on the issues whilst he had his papers out

So let me get this right - you clearly think I've nothing better to do with my time than to drop everything I'm doing and hold a meaningful call with no preparation

NO!!!

And then I got stroppy!!!
