Pheasant seeking cover

After my misidentification of a kestrel yesterday, I feel more confident with this one. I spotted it at at the edge of a field before it disappeared into a thicket. In other news, the VAT inspection went ok so that is a weight off my mind. No stone was left unturned for the last four years and there was a certain amount of scurrying about in the garage looking for old paperwork or drilling deep into computer records. The outcome was that we passed and she even acknowledged that they owe us rather than the other way round. Now that is a result!!
