"you make your own luck"... VS ...fate

1. we spent the day in Manchester. Went to the "buy art fair" at Urbis. saw some amazing and inspiring pieces that aren't a million miles away from the sort of stuff i put out.

2. whilst there got talking to a guy who runs a gallery and printshop in Sheffield
Said he'd print some samples of my pics :-)

3. On the way back to catch the train, stumbled upon "Marc the printers" who seem to do every flyer and gig poster that appears on the city. he's got some really cool textured/recycled paper and some very attractive prices too. Said he'd print some samples of my pics :-)

an encouraging day. shame i volunteered for overtime tomorrow or i'd get moving on this.
