Tree

This morning when the kids woke up Skipper was holding a small gift for both of them. They each got a key (a special key to Elfland in the North Pole for if the children ever visit there) and jingly bells to hang on the tree. Here is Chickpea looking very pleased after hanging hers up.

Our tree isn't looking the best this year. Each day it gets rearranged, usually by Monkey who thinks the decorations look much better on the floor, but even Chickpea will get in on the deal hanging several ornaments on one branch (as in the picture). The Mr. and I obviously have a very outdated sense of Christmas tree style!

The first one sounded a lot like poetry I thought--
"The twinking lights (in the sky) look like little dancing fairies!"

"I'm working so hard to make a cereal blanket!"
