ABUNDANCE
When the plums ripen Christmas is around the corner. I remember going into the orchard as a child and discovering the sweet dark purple plums hiding under the green leaves. The darker in colour the juicier they are. In a day or two these plums will be ready to eat.
We should have thinned the fruit out more to achieve larger fruit. Never mind! Plum jam is as delicious as apricot jam. Will try a bottle or two.
