Pond Pump

One of the joys of having a pond is keeping the thing clean, our pond was clean till the hotter weather came along and stimulated the growth of algae, this has an effect on the pond pumps filters. They need attention every second day otherwise the fountain is reduced to a dribble. Today I completely dismantled the pump and gave it a complete overhaul. Out pump has a uv light in it to help in the removal of algae from the water so that had to be serviced too. Well now the pump is working well as you can see.
