Golden Light on Golden Dog

The dogs and I had another lovely long walk this morning, starting out in the half light. There was not a cloud in the sky, even at that hour the promise of a hot day. Three quarters of our way through the walk and the dogs were pretty tired. It was time for a quick dip and a bit of a swim. The early light was slanting through trees and onto the waters of the Taylor River. This golden light slithered over Fergus as he climbed out of the water… Thus golden light on a golden dog.
