#Advent 10: "they gathered as much as they needed"

... those who gathered much had nothing over, and those who gathered little had no shortage; they gathered as much as each of them needed.

The focus of the Jesse Tree today is on God's gift to the Israelites of manna in the desert. I wonder what manna has been served up at this picnic table in time past?

Spent a couple of hours exploring Kinnoull Hill, surveying the storm damage. Lots of trees have been felled by the winds from last week; tall trees, with very few roots. This has also been a reminder that Kinnoull Hill is an extinct volcano, so there is a lot of volcanic rock and not much soil for roots to go down.
