Story of the figure

Once upon a time there was a figure. It was standing in the pedestrian street. It was a man shape figure with no head or hands. It was a lonely figure. All day, every day it watched people walking by. It was so lonely.

But one night something magical happened. A heart was given to him. It was a small, little sad heart but it was just what the figure had always wanted. It made the days more bearable than before. Now the figure didn't care about the people who just walked by. Now it had a heart that kept it warm.
