After 3/4am wake up calls yesterday and a few drinks last night, I was surprised that we managed to drag ourselves out of bed reasonably early this morning for a day trip to Leiden. We had a lovely time there, wandering around the shops and going from cafe to cafe for hot chocolates and good food. By the late afternoon tiredness had hit us both and we headed back to our hotel in Amsterdam to have a quick nap before going out for dinner and some dancing in a nightclub. A sure sign of getting old! :)
