Worra lorra foxes :)

I decided to head to Hornsea Freeport this afternoon to buy new walking boots.

Last week I walked for a couple of miles through a saltmarsh and my boots and feet got absolutely soaked.

Since then I had started to wonder if something had crawled into the back of my van and died - and finally tracked the terrible smell down to the festering damp boots! So into the bin they go.

Before I went to the shops, I popped into the Mere and saw a little group of people with binoculars - there was a grey phalarope. I have never seen one before - so spent a while in the freezing cold, taking photos, but the light was pretty poor, so my blip is foxies at tea time :)
