Bitter sweet baby

I've only been back for 24 hours but I'm already feeling right at home again. Unfortunately the same can't be said for the wee man. Sensing I was about to leave after lunch, the wee man broke into a wee cry as I walked through the gate and waved back. He occasionally cries when his mum leaves the room but this was the first time that it happened to me. It almost broke my heart.
