Another Day Off

Clare started full time this morning, excited, nervous but ready, I almost got up to see her off but the effort at 05:00 proved too much, instead I have bought her a 'lush' cake for tonight.
Today's photo - Everybody has mentioned the 'lovely' sunrise this morning but as a young boy I learnt;

"Red sky in the morning, shepherds warning",

and as far as I know it still holds true!!
Elsewhere once the children were safely dispatched to school, (Sam with another 'Excused PE note), I hung three more pictures in the hallway. Discount Day at B&Q so more paint, outside lights (surprise for Clare tonight), coal, kindling wood and picture hooks. Shopping down town, granddaughters and Janet & Johns parcels posted, before meeting the lovely Michelle, (wife #3, although Rowe's separated us), at the Meat Counter for lunch.
Enjoyed my catch up, not surprised to hear Rowe's is still a cluster f**k and looking forward to more of the same on Saturday, catch up that is!!!
Home, shepherds pie made for tomorrow, couple more pictures hung, mirror up, tide clock up and new "House Motto" plaque up. We had M&S pies for dinner, Samantha approved so all good.
Joshua to Army Cadets, Sam safely tucked up in her bedroom so Sunday Telegraph and coffee for me.
