Mr Reliable

We met up with some of Pete's former colleagues today for Christmas Lunch. We ate at Burtons Restaurant. It's the first time we've eaten there. The food and service were excellent. Many people might recognise the building as the school in The Full Monty. To walk off the meal and get a blip, we went along to Hillsborough Park where this handsome fellow (a Pintail duck) is always on hand. He's very confiding and will come very close to the bank. He's probably an escape but he's come to be a familiar sight in the park. There were goosanders there too but as the light was fading, and they tend to stay near to the central island, it wasn't possible to get a decent shot of them. They'll be there for another day.
