An early start to the Hyatt again this morning to "close" the event I opened on Sunday. All done quickly and got to work armed with a Christmas tree for our department as well as a few other bits. Update on department that hung the tree from the ceiling - it's getting worse!! More things being hung from the ceiling and even offers of money to stop and have pity on the rest of us have not worked! My colleague Megha very dryly said, "I don't think we are competing for the same thing!!"

It is 11.12.13 today. The last special day for quite a while. My date buddies will really have to be on the ball. Took G for a meal to mark it followed by customary ice cream! Apart from that; tomorrow is the Office "Winter Party" preceded by the AGM, and Secret Santa in the office before that. I shall be busy ALL DAY/EVENING/NIGHT long!

Oh. Nearly forgot! My blip is about this new highway which is almost ready to have traffic on it. If you look in the distance, you can see two sharp bends. I can imagine this road being an absolute dream to drive on and can't wait but also can't help wondering with the demon reckless driving we have here and high speeds, how wise it is to have these curves! Hoping for the best. . .
