Not the same as Trev's

sometimes it can be very difficult not to blip exactly the same as Trev. Both these shots are of the same features taken on the same walk but I went on a bit longer. In my shot you can also see Buttermere village set between Buttermere and Crummock Water. Doesn't the village look small from up here. Loweswater is just round the corner out of site.
I am sure I was told that there was once a scheme to flood the valley and join the three lakes into an enormous reservoir but I've not found a written reference to this. Perhaps someone was having me on?
