Entropy

This is the door of a small shed in our garden that is slowly being reclaimed by Nature. It has things inside, I have forgotten what they are and I am not going to look!

I did my duty and hunter-gathered the Christmas tree from the local jungle (aka shop), stuck it into its bucket and strung the lights. Luckily LED lights tend to last better than the old bulbs and they worked. Herself was not allowed to say 'How Lovely' until it was ready because I get very grumpy about festivity in general and that adds to the grumps if said prematurely before the work is done.

One cat thinks it is all VERY exciting - sparkly things to bat, dark places to creep under, new smells to investigate. The other one hasn't noticed yet because sleeping is more interesting than everything except food.

Entropy - the universal tendency towards disorder - which explains why Christmas lights always end up tangled.
