What do you see?
The weather was wonderful today, starting with a spectacular sunrise followed by sunshine for most of the day. I didn't attempt the long walk today, so consoled myself with a walk around the village to deliver Christmas cards.
Down at Chollerford the North Tyne was calm, allowing the reflections of the sky to shine in its waters. This is really quite unusual so I wanted to capture it. During most of the year, this aspect of the bridge at Chollerford is obscured by foliage. I showed the image to Mum, who could not make out what it was. I think there's an optical illusion as if the bridge is suspended above the sky.
35 people walked today. I am planning on feeling much better tomorrow!
