Significant date today!

What a day it's been and I was so looking forward to seeing the end of it. I've survived!!!

Some urgent domestic chores first off, followed by a mad dash to the airport for Cathay's flash mob which was very good/colourful/entertaining. My friend Juhi was in it. Can't even begin to think what passengers arriving would make of it all. Very fun indeed!

Then home for a few more chores and to get ready for the main event - Peninsula's 85th anniversary celebrations. Was so pleased to be part of this historic event and enjoy the elegant, extravagant party they put on. Every part of the hotel was celebrating with different bands, food, drinks, they even flew in a cigar roller to make cigars for the new cigar bar Davidoff!

They had made a video of the past 85 yrs which they projected on to the facade of the hotel! Absolutely genius. So clever.

Really enjoyed standing on the roof terrace overlooking HK and absolutely admiring our amazing city, and beautiful Victoria Harbour complete with skyscrapers flashing Christmas greetings.

I took so many pics today, it was hard to choose, so opted for my 'signature' collage instead just to get a feel of the event.

Looking forward to pushing out the zzzz's!!!!
