No smoke without fire

I was walking with Colin on the Wednesday walk this morning. I stopped to photograph this smoke bush (cotinus) - I think it would be better named fire bush at this season.

We were walking through the grounds of the former Pen-y-fal Hospital. Now turned into flats.
