Still as a statue

Tom cannot stand the sensation of getting his hair cut.

Normally it takes three people to get it done.

One to cut, one to calm him down and one to hold him down as he kicks, screams and cries.

Last night he surprised everyone by staying perfectly still. Although he doesn't look happy it is pure concentration.
