Hydrangeas in Lace

I found these hydrangeas outside my mother's kitchen window to be most intriguing. Instead of being covered in a large ball shape with petals, they are flat with a circlet of petals around the outside and what look like berries and little starbursts in the centre. Dressed prettily in lace I decided.
