Story - i will tell it

We've been unpacking and slowly getting the Christmas decorations out. In one of our boxes in the loft we keep the Christmas books, not all of them, some are out all year, but some we keep as special for Christmas stories. This book that Miss Pink is "reading" is one of them. After I had read Aliens love Panta Claus, and the Night before Christmas, and the children had both done their school reading, Miss Pink said she'd tell me a story. It was lovely, and involved two kittens, a cow, a lamb (who baahed) and the bright star above the prickly hay.
