Pink Pyramid

At the risk of being a bore, I've blipped another entry of my main view. I was getting ready for work when today's view stopped me in my tracks. I grabbed my camera & out I went, trudging through the snow to get my shots. My expertise camera did not do this shot justice compared to what I saw and experienced. The pink pyramid was raging and, meanwhile, it shot up a beam hitting the clouds above. You can't see the beam in this shot. The whole scene was magical to me and what I imagine the northern lights to be (when I finally see them, that is). Back inside to warmth and poof! just like that the image I had taken was gone! It somehow makes it all the more special when it doesn't last and my lens captures what only I was able to see.
