Horse Rangers Carol Service
Such a busy day!
We bought and decorated the Christmas tree. This involved a trip to the garden centre to replace 2 sets of fairy lights which worked before I put them on the tree and then decided not to, once the tree was decorated!!
Amy had a football match. This was a quarter final cup match against a team in a higher league, who they best 6-4.
And then finally this evening we went to the Horse Rangers annual carol service. This is always a lovely event as it is held in the Chapel Royal at Hampton Court, and this is such a stunning building. This year Prince and Princess Michael of Kent attended (she is the Horse Rangers Royal Patron).
Afterwards we went back to the Royal Mews for a glass of wine and a mince pie and both royals were there. Amy was standing with us and along came Prince Michael, who was talking to a lot of the children. He had quite a chat with Amy about horses and told her a funny story about when he was thrown off a horse into a hedge! She found it very funny... such a nice man!
