She was first on stage in the nursery nativity today. She led her little gaggle of angels beautifully. She absolutely sang her heart out. She stood so proud beside Mary and led the angels in their dancing around the shepherds.

And the whole time, Monkey sat just at the stage entrance, in his dress, but not in her hand, waiting in case she had a nervous wobble. Such a big difference to last year when she stood chewing Monkey the fellow Star as she sang. Not to mention such a difference to her first nursery Christmas Play when she just stood looking adorable but bewildered.

I cant believe today was her last nursery nativity. I am so proud of her. I shed a few tears during Away in a Manger.

Tomorrow we go to see her school for the first time.
